High humidity when lights are off

Hey I was having 90% humidity in the first 10 days of flowering period only when the lights are off how bad thats gonna be by the end of flowering. They looking great anyways but I wondered how it could be if I was more professional

High humidity in flower is an open invitation to bud rot and mildew. Try and get the humidity down to the 40-60% range. Get a dehumidifier if necessary. What’s the rh when the lights are on?

Other than with seedlings I like to keep my tent at less than 60% rh. My current grow has been hovering in the 40-50% range and the plants are thriving. Also remember that the rh you’re measuring is where the meter is, if it were in the plant canopy it would be higher.

But they look amazing I its a first week of flowering I dont think I damaged them with 10 days of hight humidity ?

Yep, no lie. It’s easy to get enviro out of whack. Hmm you should be fine for now but the point is get it under control so it doesn’t become an issue, by the time you spot that stuff it’s gotten a great foothold. Prevention is the best cure

did you get all that soil mixed up? might want to add some local leaf litter to each pile - kinda inoculates it for your region

No you didn’t hurt them, but continued high rh in flower will eventually cause you problems.

That looks like a lot of foliage you have, and the plants look pretty lanky. Can I ask what strains you're growing?

You need both a dehumidifier and humidifier so that you can dial in your VPD for both lights on and off.
Whats nice about the dehumidifier is when the lights go off the temp drops and humidity goes way up the dehumidifier puts out warm air and lowers humidity so your temps remain stable and don't get too cold at night.

They can be littlw hungry idk I'm afraid of burning them with too much fertilizer

I have to ask all of you .i finished my summer season i dry the weed for smoke and my ash its not white its not black totally but its not white for sure. And I was using only organic stuff. Sulfur,soap,alcohol neem oil, whay I did wrong so my ash its dark

Did you cure them properly? And did you wash off bugs? The ash should be white if clean.

Yep, probably needed proper slow dry and long cure to get a smoother smoke and lighter ash.

No I didnt cure yet I just harvested last Thursdays and its 8 days in the dryer
