Hello plant lovers,
I am a long time regular gardener and WORSHIP plants. I became fascinated with Hydroponics about 3 months ago and read about it for days. I became obsessed and started buying equipment. What should I grow? Hmmm. I want something beautiful, something that smells good, something useful that I can grow in a small space. BINGO!
I started with seeds from the weed I get from my neighborhood stoner girl. I wanted something that I wouldn't care if it died to test everything and make my mistakes. About 30 days later, I planted 3 Mango seeds. One grew 3 times faster than the others. I guess the rest of the story should go in a grow journal?
Anyway, I've enjoyed my experiences so far, had some small disasters and am here to learn. Also need advice on clones, since my first 2 tries looked great for 10 days, but then withered and died without ever rooting. Now on my 3rd set of clones. After extensive reading have added heat to the bottom, hydrogen peroxide to the water and coated the inside of the nursery box with a mold/mildew preventative and added more light.
Indoor Closet Setup
Oscillating fan for air movement.
Drip system with reservoir and drain off bucket.
MH/HPS 400w for veg and bloom.
Canna Coco growing medium and food.
Also using Cannazyme, PK 13/14 and Rhizotonic, by Canna
Everything is on timers, but of course I check everything 2wice a day.
Mother/Seedling/Clone Room
I'm using my bathroom at the moment. Newly renovated and CLEAN!
4 - 48" florescents (2 warm, 2 cool) and 3 daylight 800 lum CFLs.
My big Mango is doing well, so I assume it's enough light for the babies.
