hi i need to use some GrowMore Ph UP (30%KOH)

im using soil and the acid is a bit high so i got this stuff. im not really sure why, im pretty new... and after i got home i noticed it says for hydroponics!
is it ok to still use a little in some water and give to soil plants?
how much should i use for a gallon of water?
it says use one teaspoon for 10 gallons of nutrient solution should i just go with that? i dont think i even have a 1/10 of a teaspoon measurer ugh. and im scared it will melt my finger off like the little picture on the side. =(

The hydro Ph up should work with soil. It should say somewhere on the bottle. If not you can use baking soda to lower and vinegar to raise your Ph.

It should be fine. Follow the manuf. instructions.

also someone told me to smash up a few rolaids and put that in the water, its mostly calcium and magnesium i guess.. anyone try that ever?

Never tried that. May work, all sorts of chemicals can lower and raise Ph.
