Hi all!

Hey everyone, first time grower from the UK. Learning more everyday through reading this forum and it looks like a great community to be a part of. Looking forward to getting involved :)

If any kind soul could offer me some advice on this I would be very grateful, as mentioned above this is my first grow and I'm learning more everyday so please be gentle.
I'm growing 4 plants indoors under CFL, X3 are Auto Speed Buds (Female Seeds) and this one is a Malana Bomb (Barney's Farm). I'm a little concerned at the curling on the sides of the leaves here, seems to be growing fine and there's no discolouration or spots etc and is still nice and green, just the leaves are curling up a little.
I raised the lights yesterday incase of heat stress, but she's still like it.

Any help is gratefully received, thank you.

Oh and apologies for poor pic quality, my tablet sucks for photos.

Ok sorry, realised more info is needed.
pH is fine, growing in shop bought soil (I know, noob), 1 CFL is a full spectrum 150w the others are an ordinary 60w and a 40w. No nutrients as yet, I have a biobizz triple pack but have been advised to wait til 2 week mark to start.
Have a slight problem with fungus gnats, not an infestation yet but noticed 3 buzzing around one of the plants this morning so have ordered some 3% Hydrogen Peroxide to treat with tomorrow, plants haven't been watered for just over 48hrs.

hey riki welcome to :420:

and a great big :welcome:

you are in the right place, this is the best little corner of the internet for our favorite plant and pastime

mites and fungus gnats are a common problem. the H202 should knock the gnats out, however i'm not so sure on using it on one so small. i would advise caution on the strength of the solution. also be careful of the soil you are using, as the soil itself may have been harboring them.

there is a forum for problems, pests and disease control. just follow the link and post up in the subforum for better help than i can provide.

also here are few helpful links for new members to help get you sorted. take some time to look around and get settled. there are loads of great people here willing to share their knowledge. consider starting a grow journal, that's where most of the action occurs here.

also a quick note, security is taken very seriously here, please use a username with no basis in your personal life. your handle kinda looked real at first.

3% is the strength normally found at the local pharmacy. watch your costs, it can be loads cheaper there, i use a 27% solution myself.

cheers

Thanks for the advice and warm welcome Bluter, no worries on the handle, it's not my real name!

Yeah, I'm planning to start off much weaker than recommended, I've seen threads that advise a mix of one part HP to 4 parts water but I'm going to start weaker than that to be cautious.

Is the slight curling on the leaves anything to worry about? Or just noob paranoia?

it may indicate over watering, which is what i'd lean to at this point. there are other things it could be as well, or nothing at all. maybe post in the forum i linked for a more definite response.
