Hey there 420 World! Greetings From the East coast. Hope this finds everyone doing well.

I’m a first time grower and making many mistakes along the way. A lot I have learned from and hopefully won’t make the same mistakes in the future. Moving forward I could use a good dosage of advice.

I have a small grow tent of 3x3, auto flowering feminized seeds. I know, I know, I have heard it all about why I shouldn’t go auto fem. But that’s a whole other story.

Currently I’m having issues with understanding what cycle the plants are at. The thing is they should have been harvested already but they don’t look done. Then again it’s my first time. I planted them on March 26th.I have 5 different strains so they are a little off in stages. I have 2 that are much taller than the others. I don’t know if I should be still using fertilizer or just be cleansing the soil with water? Please help! I’m worried about messing them up further by waiting too long to harvest.
Also concerned about heat and humidity. It has been quite hard to get these lowered. Heat has been 80-85 lately in the tent. With 50 -55 humidity. But at the end near harvest that should be much lower right? And should I be trimming off the leaves to allow more light to the buds? So many questions, really hope this makes sense. Sending loving kindness ahead of time for taking the time to reach out and help.

Peace, peace.

Jeannine

Hi Jeannine, They look fine to me. Maybe a few weeks left possible. The times the seed sellers say aren't really accurate all the time. Here's a good read on autos life cycle and needs. It's older but is solid.

Welcome @FilmXposed we are glad you are here! Your girls look happy! I started my first auto by accident, it was taking forever so I tossed it in with my 12/12's and that seemed to spark it. I imagine it would have happened without that, just taken longer...and even with that push they are way past the breeder timeframe...so my point here is don't go by what the breeder says and you can't really cook them too long, and you'll know if you are. You are going to be surprised, I'd let them go till you can read the tricomes nicely if its two weeks or two months. CHeers and good luck! :yahoo:

Rule of green thumb, when they should be done wait another week (better late than early)

there are excellent photos of the trichome decay cycle in our “how to grow” forum

looking at the clarity, color, haze under magnification will help you pick the right time to harvest.
