Hello,

Growing Master under 6 1000w hps. I started to get this problem at the end of week 4. Only on 6 plants but that is 20% of my grow. I have searched and some of the problems have been maybe magnesium deficiency but I do not know how when it is getting adequate mg from cal-mag and bud candy. But then I read that too much phosphorus can cause mg lockup.

Need help diagnosing this.

Thank you.

Using coco in 3 gal pots. Soil pH 5.75 and feed is 5.9-6.1(long 1600-1750). Water everyday, 2x a day. They get 2-4 cups per feeding. Water with RO water every 6-7 days with 1.5-2 gals. Feeding Heavy 16 nutes, liq karma, sweet, big bud (powder,) bud candy, N.U.T.S, just started using ooze week 4, slica, cal-mag plus. Been monitoring and havent seen any more plants shwoing signs. But I have another post with leaves burning and all these plants have that also.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Does your run off pH swing? There really is no one perfect pH so a pH swing from 5.5 to 6.1 is good for the plants because it passes through the max absorbtion for all macro / micro nutes. I would try adjusting your next batch of nutes to 6.1 or maybe even 6.3 to bring your ph up a bit and see if they like that.

I am no hempy expert but is giving nutes 2x per day normal? Seems like a lot?

I flushed the other day and lowered the base nutes to about 40%. Friend said that I using big bud powder which is highly concetrated P and K. So he said I should lower some of the other nutes esp the base.

As for the 2x watering it is to mimic the previous drip system I used before. Just tight on space cannot use the drip system. Know a few ppl who do this also with good results. I thought it was also. Plus the second feeding I reduce to 50-60%.

Thank you for your help.
