help with ph

My tap water is running at 7.0 ph should i lower it for growing in coco and perlite

Yes. I run mine at 5.8 to 6.4 after nutes are added or if it is strait water, the same.

how much will my budda grow lower the ph of water ?

Coco and perlite is considered a soilless medium, so ph should be anywhere from 5.6-6.2. A ph of 7 would just kill the plants or make it so they can't grow, the ph determines what nutrients can be uptaken which is why it's one of the most important aspects of a grow
