Help? Vent set up

I have an Argo Max tent, and installed the 6" flange, but I am stuck. If I attach the fan (AC Infinity Cloudline T6) directly to the flange, I will leak light, no?
So I attach ducting to the fan and turn it to the flange, correct?
I see lots of ducting OUT of the tent,(see graphic) but I dont see a means to attach ducting on the outside of the tent(see pic).

So I could use some advice.

Could throw an S bend in ducting, and use duct tape. The silver stuff.
