Hi all my fellow gardeners,

I have a question???

I have a AC Infinity dehumidifier which I fill with my local tap water. Which reads 7.2 on the meter

Should I be PHing the water before filling the dehumidifier.

Would be grateful for anyone’s response.

I'm guessing you mean humidifier? I can't make sense of adding water to a DE-humidifier.

No you do not need to pH water placed in a humidifier, but if your water has a lot of minerals it can ultimately block up the water pathways.

Use 'distilled' water in a humidifier or you'll get white crap all over everything.

So just to be clear I’m all good using tap water or distilled water.

use distilled water or face mineral buildups down the road
