Help! No Power

I lost power at my home about 2 hours ago. This is day 2 of flower. The plants got 8 hours of light before the power went out. My estimated restoration time is 2 days form now. they usually over estimate and expect I will have power some time tomorrow. My question is will the plants be OK or do I need to try and move them? If they stay in the dark until power comes back on, will the damage be done?

I live in a region that suffers fairly frequent and sometimes extended power outages. It doesn't help that all our power is run on overhead lines instead of buried lines.
An hour or two... no bother. Just reset my timers and move along with my life.
3-24 hrs... I use a power inverter that converts my vehicle's battery into 110 and plug my grow room into the inverter.
More than a day... Time to drag out my big-ass diesel generator.

The electric grid sure does. Luckily I was only out for 2 hours of my lighting schedule.

Our power situation is caused by our ground. It shifts so much that buried cables just don't last long.

lol The U.S is run by a coxial network of lines. We dont have the advantage of being as small as the UK and burying our lines. We prob have over 2 million miles of cable that has to be run just for internet, phone and power
