Help needed, outdoor pest problems

Hi all,

I have been vegging out some unknowns in my garden for the last 6/7 weeks.

I am using a super soil mix, have sprayed a light spray of dr bronners soap mix when around 4 weeks old. i have noticed the bottom of one of the plants have started to be eaten, assuming a slug?

Also i have noticed what looks like slime from a snail but i want to say it could be from spoder mites?

any additional info would be greatly appreciated!

These few plants are being grown in my garden just for fun so not to worried if they dont make it but im hoping i can keep these going.

I am a newbie however have read not to water your plants at night to keep the slugs away. Morning is best.

Also, I am using NEEM oil with terrific results so far. I start with a light coat during veg state after 3-4 nodes of growth.

Somehow it seems to be working. This is my first grow and outdoors.
