Help needed: Leaves crinkly & buds not smelling

Hi everyone,

Third week in 12/12 hour flowering, Dinafem Critical 2.0 seeds using Spiderfarmer 4000 in a 1.5x1.5m tent.

The past 7-10, the top leaves are changed dramatically, see photos. buds are growing fine but lack any smell. I have 3 of the same plant, all looking the same.

I thought it was the strain at first but now a Trainwreck plant (in same tent) is starting to look very similar.

Any help is very welcome!

As normally smells just vary on the Strain, but something is off in what you are doing as that is not normal looking.

Out of curiosity, what size pot are you in, and how far away is the light?

whats your heat and humidity levels, are the leaves folding like tacos - maybe humidity or only happening to plants close to light.

Smell is not in the buds at this point, if you want to smell her scent then rub the stem and take a whiff of your fingers.

Whatever is going on - that does not look good, looks terminal. I hope it will turn around. The crew needs more info - please be specific as possible. Temp at canopy height & rh for starters, plus all the other stuff, grow media, size of bucket, how long in same bucket, what nutes, whats your ph etc

My first impression was hemp russet mites, broad mites or tobacco mosaic virus...
IF it is mites, a 1:1 solution of 90% isopropyl alcohol will kill them.
Most iso seems to come as 70%...if so mix 2 parts iso to 1 part water, and spray the plants at lights out
Repeating every 3 days or so...
They're hard to kill off because they lay their eggs inside the plant, so spraying won't kill the eggs- you just need to keep spraying till they all hatch out.
If, on the other hand it is Tobacco Mosaic Virus...bad news- there is no cure or treatment...
Mites are almost microscopic (.02mm) so you'll need a microscope to see if they are indeed the problem here...
It's sad that mites would be the good news in this instance- but you can kill them- if it's TMV, there's nothing you can do.

Use hand scope or loupe to check for pests, under the leaves and Check soil surface for them.
