What like wound be good for 8sq. ft? looking at a 400w hps or leds.

would two-mars II 700 be to much?
would a mars 192x5 work?

I recommend you go with Mars Pro II 160,which with better built-up than Mars II or Reflector series.Mars , Led grow light , Mars Hydro

Budget is a bit tight, but I will say that you will never regret buying a less powerful, higher quality light. I would look into DIY COB LED but the budget is a bit tight for that. I would look at the Perfect Sun Dwarf Star or 500.
