i went from 18-6 hours to 12/12 hours 3 days into bloom my 1000 watt hps ballast stopped working so i had to put my 400 watt mh for 5 days....am i going to lose yield and if so how much?

Hey Man.

The MH light is going to reduce stretch. Can't really predict what it will do to your yield, but if you get your 1000 back working within 5 days, you should be just fine.

At this point, you sound like you really don't have a choice?

what i did in a pinch was go to Lowes and get there 400W HPS sylvania bulb it was only 20 bucks until i got my replacement.. and i was fine i normally run a 600w system though

not much to worry about if it was 5 days

I agree. Especially that early in flower. I'd expect next to no loss. It might have worked more like and extra week of veg.

hey guys thanks for the reply i really appreciate the help....this was driving me crazy thinking im going to gonna lose a significant amount of yield.....when i switch back to my 1000 watt hps is this going to stress my plants at all?

Not one bit. I'm assuming you have the extra heat handled.
