Hello - First time grower of MJ need advice

Can someone tell me why my plant is in flower sooooo long?
I started this plant 18 February.
On 5 July I set the lamps to 12/12

On 4 August flowering had started.

Plants today 27 October 16

I have been checking the trichomes every few days and they still have not darkened any.

Any information would be great.

How often are you watering? she may be root bound. You could try lowering your light schedule to 11/13 and see if that helps.

I water about every 2-3 days, I use a moisture meter to be sure the soil never dries out. I quit adding nutrients 15 Sep. I will decrease the light time by an hour as you suggest and see what happens.

That's good about the watering, doesn't sound like she is root bound. Give her a week to adjust to the new time.

Can you post a close up of one of your buds? If you are going by trichs it can be extremely difficult to judge. If you have 75% red hairs, you will be close to harvest.
