My name is Hawthorne and I'm here to help if I can. I don't get involved with drama, pissing contest and yelling matches, we are here to help one another reach a greater goal from legalization to bigger buds lol.
I'm a Mechanical Engineer and a licensed Electrician for over 20 years, been growing for over 30 years so I will do what I can to help out with lighting and problem solving questions.
I grow for medical reasons, my wife has anxiety issues and I suffered from chronic sleeping disorders. We both hate the idea of popping pills to help these issues so we go with mother nature instead and have been doing well.
My current small set up.
A small veg cabinet and a 2x4x5 tent all running led lighting.
My veg cabinet runs a 146w 5000k led panel, Four 14w 6700k bulbs and two 14w 2700k bulbs.
My tent uses 2 300w (actually 136w x 2) full spectrum led panels and four 36w dimmable 2700k spotlights that are programmed to slowly warm up and dim down before the full spectrum panels turn on/off to help simulate sunrise/sunset during the blooming stage.
I use ocean forest soil and perlite mixed 3 to 1 and the ff trio for my nutrients.
The bigger girl is 1 week into flower and her little sisters are 4 weeks old today.
