So starting my new grow with a new light and its alot hotter than the last one. Here is my setup it's pretty small. Anyone got any tips on getting it cooler in there permanently? It's currently 78 degrees constantly and that's a bit too warm right?

Plz help

So just a quick update I just got back inside and the tent was at 89 degrees. I know that's very bad. What do I do? How can I fix this?

Do they make them for a small tent like mine? Mine is 2feet by feet 4 feet tall
Only 4' tall will be a pain in the ass to grow in.

I'd grab a 6 inch inline with speed controller. Mainly because you're going to want to go to a taller tent.

Definitely a good idea. The "worst" thing that happens is you end up running it on one of the lower speeds. That's not a bad thing at all, as it will use less juice. :D

An AC Infinity Cloudline S6 (6" inline fan) runs around $115 on amazon, and they're excellent. They also come with a speed controller, so no extra pieces/work for adding that.

The real benefit is that fan only uses 32w max, and will move 315cfm on it's top setting. On lower settings, it will use even less, and therefore be saving you money every month as well. :)

This will also give you room to grow in tent size, and not have to buy another fan. In the meantime, you'll also have power in reserve if the temps get super hot.

If you're going to be concerned with smell, don't forget a carbon filter.

How loud are these typically. Tent is in my bedroom

You'll hear it on full blast, but it isn't bad. The rating on it is 32dB which is pretty quiet, especially considering other "cheaper" fans.

It's also 38w, not 32w. I had it confused with the dB. Either way, running on the lower settings you won't hear it.

I have two 6" and a 4" running in my grow space now, all on at least half way. My 18" room fan drowns them out, if that tells ya anything.

AC unit is the best way. What’s the temperature inside your house? I’ve found if I run my AC at 71 /72 I keep temps in tent around 75 . If your running a blurple light that puts off a lot of heat or runs hot, you may have to keep AC set to 70 degrees . I run a qb style light that doesn’t get hot so it’s easier to keep temps in range . Hope this helps if it hasn’t already been said

And you definitely need the in-line fan that’s been mentioned, that will draw out a considerable amount of heat

I use the AC infinity cloudlines, much quieter than the competition. You'll hear them but not overly loud. Set your light timer so it's off at night and hook into that.

Yep I use the cloud line 6 as well. Much quieter
