Gypsy's Caravan Chronicles - Book 1 - Caravan Chaos

I've done a lot of defoliation, usually two-three leaves off each plant a day...doesn't seem to bother them and really helps to get lots of new shoots faster IMO. So far they are really kicking it

looks like that FIM is paying off too! :thumb: i'll have to try it with one of the clones :)

Bridget will be so jealous .. i'll have to break it to her slowly. it will be three plus weeks.. ouch. just bit my lip. uh, before i start any of those. gives me a little time.

big thanks to TNSB :green_heart: a couple of unexpected treats. very cool. :thanks:

and thanks to :420: for having great sponsors like TNSB and CKS :circle-of-love:

Oooooo....... Dark Devil Autos!!! You're going to join the community grow, aren't you? :yahoo:

Opium and Vertigo. Yummy!! Sounds like my kind of strains. I take it they're sativa-dominant?

computer crashed and lost a big long ramble lol. short version :) these are mostly 50/50 except the Jack. i think that one is 70/30. i used to grow a lot of sativas, but over the last few years have been going more for the 50/50's, indicas and CBD stuff due to my med conditions. faster flower times don't bother me so much either :laughtwo:

i've got Scott's OG and Sweet God coming too. along with a few more freebies. gotta hurry up and get the outdoor stuff prepped lol. i was just at the park for lunch and little daisies are blooming. a fruit tree and alders too. it's going to be another great OD grow summer. :yahoo:

Will you journal the outdoor grows? I love following grows under Natural Sol Systems. :laughtwo:

i definitely will :)

i may have to dig around for a nice thai strain. they do very well in the forest environment i live in. i have a feeling many of the sunny spots are going to be taken with auto's lol. i'm still working on the old Section 8 too. that was the first one i grew outdoors when i moved in there years ago. had a few push 8' tall. wouldn't mind seeing that again.

probably shouldn't get too carried away lol. i can already see spending a few hours a day watering.

Bridget is now officially in flower :)

She received a light trim today and is in the now vacated 3'x3' nursery tent. I also swapped her Mars 300 with the Mars 600 that was in the veg room so she can get a little more light. I'll probably thin her out a little more as she acclimates. No more bondage either lol. She's flying free!

I hope everyone is having a great weekend! :circle-of-love::Namaste:

Wow. Bridget is BEAUTIFUL, gypsy. Loving that light, for sure!

:) thank you Glimmer' :green_heart:

she's not too bad for a really late and very slow growing sprout lol. she's all pissed of at me again.. hehe. the Mars 600 was too much for her. found a few leaves starting to bleach so i swapped back to the 300. this is probably an example of what KG was saying in the other thread.. i might be able to post a link if i remember lol. probably not :tokin: :laughtwo:

in the meantime her cookie dominant sister is maybe 2 weeks from finishing. oooohhh she' sticky and white. trouble is i don't think i cloned this one. i think tomorrow i'll try a lower branch. there might be a reveg attempt in the future for that one if the clone doesn't take. i have some crappy pics lol.. but i can't find my camera.. the more widow dominant phenos are a few weeks behind but were put into flower later. they are doing pretty much what widow does atm.. still too early to tell what it will really do. except for one. i accidentally watered it with veg water 🤦 i think that's a first for me. she definitely does not like it. not one bit lol. when she's done defoliating herself i'll see if i can save it. heh..

also have some Permafrost finishing.. some more Pitbull. the Early Miss is close :) i also found the Dark Angel mother i've been looking for after some recovery from the last Borg attack. so i'll be cloning and getting back to that soon. sheesh. :phew:

BUT that does remind me i have to give reps to MassMedMan for the tip on the Green Cleaner! it's the perfect solution for the slacker lol. the stuff flat out works. i am very impressed with it. i'm on the maintenance schedule now. had a few minor outbreaks.. and probably a few more as i type lol, but they are quite under control and i have a feeling once things are thinned out a little they will go away for the most part.

i'll try and get more pics up soon :)

much love 420! :circle-of-love:

quick update :)

Bridget was looking lonely so i gave her some company. upper right a slightly sickly Ice Wreck. lower right a three pronged White Widow and an OG Kush on the bottom.. which really doesn't fit being there is nothing wrong with it lol. The widow is the result of cloning a clone too early. Ice Wreck is mostly neglect damages but seems to be recovering.

almost got a clear shot of the White Cookies in the flower room. used the garden glasses in front of the lens trick lol.

and of course we have the customary week out sacrifice. White Cookies left, Permafrost right. flash dried, but the stems are still rubbery. some wonderful smoke already though. the White Cookies is really really tasty. mostly cookies with just the right amount of the widow. OH and in regards to what i call phenos.. bear in mind i am not a botanist or breeder. i use the term loosely and try to put the word possible in front of it. i do know why i have different looking plants now. the second 'pheno' is in the soil i am having some issues with. as they get older they are looking more like the sibling in the pic so i'm thinking the end results won't look much different.

It's 4:09 AM here on the East coast, and suddenly I decided you needed a hug. :hugs:

There, now I can sleep.

Man keep up the good work! Your ladies are killing it, you got me stoked about my white cookies :high-five: I'll be more than pleased if they look anything like those beauties!!

still alive out here lol. got sick, got busy, got sick and busy again.. ugh. so things are hanging, drying, curing, trimming and getting smoked lol. here's a few of the lower buds from the White Cookies.. sorry crummy phone shots, but i'll get some better ones soon. :)
it also put out a fairly nice main cola. not real big, but neither was the plant.. the quality makes up for lack of size though. without checking dates i'm thinking this was about 10 weeks. it could have gone another, but it might have become too lethal lol.

the smoke is nice. especially being that i am not real fond of cookies strains. the widow flavor adds just enough twang to get rid of the cookies weirdness lol. it's intense and is felt right away. warm face tingle. a little heart race and then things settle down to a nice comfortable, somewhat energetic stone. really looking forward to the hash!
white_cookies6.jpg

a lower bud from Early Miss. the main cola is very nice. still drying, but i'll try and get a pic tonight. little miss seriously out did everyone in the group as far as production. she'll probably total around 3-4 oz dry. honestly, i think i like it better than the white cookies lol. it's not quite as pretty, but it packs a wonderful dry martini-ish tangy flavor. definitely a combination of ruderalis and white widow. i'm not familiar with big bud so i don't know what kind of flavor effect it would have, but i do have to agree with the term big buds lol. stout and thick. not super dense, but not soft either. all in all i must say this is an impressive strain. good old fashioned widow punch and stone. a little heart race from the ruderalis (a weird reaction i get to it) but a really nice high once that fades. very long lasting effect. longer than most imo. the other day's wake and bake went from 5am to well around 10-11:00am. i can't remember the last thing that i felt that long lol. five crystal balls for this one. :thumb:
early_miss2.jpg

i'll try and get some more pics tonight or tomorrow. more pitbull came down, candy cane and some permafrost too. all small plants but a nice variety. once the rest of the white cookies finish up.. probably 3-4 weeks, i'll get back to that dark angel lol.

ok gotta run but yes dear lady i did need that hug lol :hugs:

thanks again everyone! :Namaste:

I could feel you, and at that moment it was impossible to ignore. Kinda like this one here, 3:12 in the morning, when I suddenly went in search of you. :hugs:

Heal well my friend. This was a fun read with some very tasty photo documentation and narration. You know those cookie exchanges they do in offices? Can you even imagine if we could do that with cannabis? PeeJay was talking about something along those lines the other day. He helps other older citizens mix soil and learn to grow their own. The stronger ones shoulder most of the heavy work and everyone grows. Then the hope is that they come together after harvest and swap. How cool would that be?

"...and then things settle down to a nice comfortable, somewhat energetic stone"

My kinda guy. Someday we must sit down and relax together. :laughtwo: Seriously, heal quickly. :hugs:

Ha! You never sleep Sue!

What, you missed Mr. Teddy's observation in November?

" She is so active across the site that one suspects her days are longer than 24 hours." - Teddy Edwards

:laughtwo: Admittedly, I get by on much less than you would think possible, but I have only myself to tend to and answer to, so I have lots of time to devote to this obsession.

You guys make it easy. This is some of the best entertainment one can find on the Internet. :circle-of-love:

Missing having your own journal yet? It was odd, while on vacation I didn't reduce my presence here by much, but I felt homeless without the grounding influence of a grow journal. Been thinking about you a lot.

Rick James might say, "cocaine is a hell of a drug"

The only drugs flowing through my system are sativa, but I will admit a preference for those strains that bring on an almost meth high response. I do love the zippy buzz. :battingeyelashes:
