Is it possible, to turn a 15-25 watt guiatar amp...into a small, personal, closet grow up......??

thought it would be a good idea.....

my guess would be hollow it out.....connect a light to the power source....make some sort exhuats...line it all with tin foil....any pointers?

If Im correct a 15 or 25 watt amplifier is a DAMN small amp! Also tin foil is horrible for plants. Im not really sure what else I can say to this.

its about 2 foot high amp...... and use white instead of tinfoil...just wondering if the power supple will be strong enouhg to run a proper light.....i figure i have enouhg room for one personal plant...

Don't do this.

A. 2 feet is not nearly enough space.

B. A 25 watt amp has a power supply that supplies at most 25 watts. You will either electricute yourself or burn your hose down trying to wire an adequete light into the power supply that cannot handle it.

C. You need to think about the risk. Is all the risk really worth it even if you manage to grow 1 single 2 ft. tall plant? Think about it.

lol ya its so worth it..if it work...i have small...portable....stealthy grow op...

k its 120v~60hz 28w of INPUT power....

use the amp for lighting and stuff....then put it ontop of a box which hold the plants and soil.....

working on it as im posting

Man, your on your own with this one. I'm sorry, but this is not smart. However, good luck with whatever you do, just don't die!

To add to this.

D. Most power supplies (ballasts) have 120V going into them, but put out well over 25,000 volts OUTPUT. Meaning if you touch the wrong wire, it will shock the living bejesus out of you, not just the tickle you get from receptacles or standard 120. It may or may not kill you depending on how grounded you are.
Dont think so? open a flourecent and touch either the red wire or the blue one. You wont do it but once. lol
p.s. I'm an electrician, and I have been hit by one personally. dont even think it bro.
