GR's GG#4 Auto Grow

This is forth attempt since spring of 22' and have had no success since my fall 21' grow.
Had health issues (three surgeries and a heart attack) for all 2022 and early 23'. You can look at the three journals in my profile. Better now and hope I am able to care for these better than the last few grows.
So let's get to it!

Started 8 GG4 Auto seeds on May 20th and got 6 of the 8 to germ.

Pots cleaned and ready for plants.

Will wash the roots that were started in coco and put them in the grow/flow (ebb and flow) pots in clay pellets in the next couple of days.

Wish me luck folks, I am going to need it.

Transplanted on Wed, washed the coco and perlite off the roots and dug a "hole" in the clay pellets to the water level and pushed the roots gently into the bucket.

This morning when I went to the shop the plants did not look so good. Hoping it's just transplant shock. Had some pH fluctuation for the first couple of days after transplant but that has leveled off.
yesterday June 2nd.

Will be monitoring them closely over the next few days.

The pH Perfect mod I use requires root formation to stabilize the pH. So I stayed on top of pH control and it began to stabilize yesterday. I know the roots have not formed well enough yet so I will continue to monitor them.

Hey
Most likely some transplant shock. But it also looks a little bit dull in the pictures you’ve posted, but that could be due to a variety of factors. Might be something to consider if your lights are down on their lower percentage range though. They kind of look like they want a bit more energy. I’m no expert at it could be anything at all but that’s the first thing I picked up on when I saw your pics.

Glad that your health is improved 🤙🏻
A very big good luck with the grow!

Well it's been 6 days since I found the plants weak, in what I am thinking was transplant shock. I dumped the rez and made up a new one. Again it was a light one, Cal/Mag, GH Micro, GH Bloom and Rapid Roots. EC is 0.7 and pH has begun to stabilize 5.9 to 6.2, have not added any pH down in a few days. They are on the 18th day since emergence and 9 days since they were put in the Hydroton, bare rooted.
Six days ago when I noticed the drooping.

Let's see how they look in the next couple of days. Going to increase the light intensity and raise the fixture to 24 inches, currently it is 20 inches.

Looks like she's gotten bigger since last week GR.:thumb: It was probably transplant shock like you said that set her back a few days. I recently transplanted one of my two month old solo cup plants into a two gallon container and it took her nearly a week to recover which is normal from my experience.
Throwing some good karma your way hoping that your current grow will go better mate.:Namaste:

I believe we are on the up side. The ladies are growing fairly well at this point, lots of good new growth.

Let's see how this week goes, will be redoing the rez this week, a few days early than the two week since last changed.
