Growing help

Hey guys, I'm a new grower.
I am just curious I have seen all different answers to this.
But my plant just started, and I have it under t8 fluorescent 60 watts.
Can this work temporarily if it's on 24/7? Or is it useless? If I can how long until I should up the watts?

Open ended questions are hard to answer. You should always use as much wattage as you can cool correctly. If you are asking if 60 watts of T8 will flower your plant it depends on how big it is. Keep your T8, 2 to 4 inches from your plant. When your plant gets big enough to cast a shadow on its self you will to add light.

Cheers

Couple of things, 1st off chances are your lamps are cool whites which is fine for vegging, as for the 24/7 you can but your pocket book will thank you at the end of the month if you run them at 18/6. Also it would help to know what size T-8s are we talking about? 2 foot? 4 foot? 1 lamp? 2 lamps? 3 lamps 4 lamps? I use T-5s to veg and have even used T-5s as a supplemental light. I have a 4 foot 8 lamp T-5 fixture and I run 6 blue spectrum lamps and 2 red spectrum lamps when vegging and go 6 red and 2 blue when using for flowering supplemental.
