Greetings all! I would like to get your views/opinions/experiences on garden consultants. I'm talking about someone you hire to come set-up/maintain/troubleshoot your grow. Whether it be a licensed business or a friend with lots of experience. Obviously, the golden rule of growing is "loose lips sink ships," however, a trustworthy expert could come in very handy for those just starting out or even for advanced growers who can't overcome a pest or other disaster on their own. Below are some questions to get this thread started. Add to them as you wish.
For those who DO grow:
Have you ever used or needed professional consulting?
What issues did you need help with?
What did/would you pay for such a service?
Was it a good experience? Were you comfortable with the individual seeing your home/grow?
For those that DON'T grow:
Would having a consultant available encourage you to grow your own?
What would you pay?
Would you insist on being taught to grow or would you rather just sit back and wait for the harvest?
