Growing advice from Pros

Hello 420 people,

I live in the Balkans and I recently moved to a new apartment.
I want to grow two small plants for me, after I clean up the balcony.

My situation is described below:
-I already have some experience growing. (Get directly to the point.)
-I have grown plants in similar space, in terrible conditions just for fun, they grew to the end and looked happy all the way. (Bad quality and low yield of course.)
-Height up to 1.2m is fine. (I can top it to adjust the height.)
-Smell is not a concern.
-Direct sunlight 3h per day. (Starting around end of May)
-Very little airflow in the balcony. (I can use a ventilator.)
-I already have a 150W growing lamp.

Is what I'm asking even possible?
If yes, do you have any advise?

Below the answers that I'm looking for:
-What seeds should I buy?
-Is 3h of sunligh enough to grow decent quality and quantity?
-Any better nutrients that I can feed them in this situation?
-Anything that I didn't think of?
-Should I create a Journal here?

Hey Uter, I can't answer concisely your questions, but I see no reason why you wouldn't be able to grow some good buds on your balcony. I also grow on a balcony (some links to my past grow journals are in my signature), mine only gets direct sunlight on the plants from the afternoon. So plants on the left side of mine only get fully in the sun from 3pm, it isn't ideal but I seem to be able to get enough buds to supply me for the year.

I top mine, so they don't get taller than about 75cm. Altho this year I LST'ed and I found that to be a pain, next grow I'll go back to topping them.

I grow mine in homemade organic soil. I am not familiar with using bottled nutes.

As for what strains to grow. I really can't say, it is not legal where I am and it is difficult to get seeds to my country. In the past I have been grateful just for a single cannabis seed of any strain! But if you have a choice then there are probably strains that suit your conditions better than others. But I don't know what strains they would be. Try to research what people are successfully growing in areas near you. Good luck.

Welcome to 420magazine.
When I saw your post I was going to tag @Stunger but he already beat me here.
He can grow award winning pot on his balcony.
I don't see any reason why you wouldn't be able to get a decent haul.

@Weed Seeds Express will ship to you, your eastern Europe right?
Get some decent potting soil and veg and bloom nutrients.
Not sure of availability there can you tell us what is available?
And supplemental lighting will definitely help your girls.
3 hr direct sun isn't a lot so that will help.
Cloth pots are good for your girls if you can get them.
I'm sure there are a ton of things I didn't mention!
We will get you going don't worry.

Right now I'm growing AURORA INDICA. It only gets about 3' tall. It's a very potent Indica strain that has a pretty strong scent to it. All the strain info is posted in this journal.

Although I have never grown an autoflower yet I would think that they would be your best bet with limited sunlight. I also agree with Bill that Weed Seeds Express is a great seed bank to look at as they have done great for me in the US on two orders so far.

Chomping at the bit for the weather to warm up and plant these outdoors in a few weeks.

You might have a wee problem separating their roots though, to get them into their own pots.
Great point about autos, with limited light you might be better off with them.
Great genetics at Weed Seeds , can't go wrong.

Here's a link to a post from InTheShed where he shows how he has separated multiple plants in one cup. A few posts later someone suggested doing it in a bucket of water as a more gentle option.

I grow on a balcony where the right most plant gets full sun by 1 o'clock and the left most plant by 3 o'clock, which isn't ideal by any standards, but they still turn out well. So for @uterusophia420 who like me has no other choice, I think it will work out fine.

i use a sharp fresh scalpel i find it to be gentler than any other method
