Grow with the closet door open?

I have a spare closet in a bedroom thats not being used, neither the bedroom nor the closet. The closet is approx 25 sq foot. The room is probably about 100 sq foot or so. I want to have a setup in the closet, and was thinking of maybe getting a 400 watt hps setup, and just not using the whole closet. I'm just looking to have a few plants at a time for personal use only. Will I have to worry about venting if the closet door stays completely open? The room itself can be totally sealed from the light. Will the room temp and a ceiling fan be enough to dissipate the heat from the closet? I have central air, and the house pretty much stays at about 70 year round...

I think you'd be alright. Just have a fan outside the closet blowing in. I would minutes temps but I think that'd work ok

In the summer, even with AC, you might still want to dump the exhaust out of the house. Can you get to an attic or crawlspace?

It shouldn't be a huge problem though with only a 400 watt HID.
