Grow tent sizing

Hi guys not sure if I added this to the right thread, apologies if not. Fairly new to growing bud and looking to set up a tent 2.5 x 5ft. How many plants would I be able to grow at one given time in this tent whilst maximising the yield? Was hoping on doing 4 or 5.

2 IMO. Each plant with a 2.5' square to grow. Maybe I just grow large plants but I tried 6 in a 4'x4 and would never do it again. You might fit 3 in there.

Just curious on who makes that tent. I was looking for one in that size and couldn't find one. Only the 2x4's or 3x3'.

Cheers for the reply bro. Haven’t settled on which specific grow tent I’m going to get just been researching sizing at the minute. I’ve found quite a few 2.5x5ft online, hydro crunch make them in that size but not sure of the quality of their product

I'd check on a 3x3x6 I know it sounds strange but 2.5x2.5=6.25sq foot. 3x3x6 gives you 9sq feet or a full 1/3 more SQ feet. Hight is an issue as well, pot size like 14" and the lights drop 14" and suddenly you have 3 foot total grow room left.

You also have to have room from the light to the plants. On LED's usually 30 inches from the seedling, 24-18 from veg and 14-18 in flower.

Small plants you could run 3 but might be tight in a 3x3. Gotta remember the sides of the plant need light as well but 3 small autoflower are doable. One or two large photoperiod.
