Grow tent pressure question

I have a 5x5x7 mars hydro grow tent with a vortex 347 6" exhaust to carbon filter and a 247 cfm 6" fresh air intake, if i have both running i have a positive pressure in my tent and my basement is starting to smell. Should i lower my fresh air fan speed to get negative air in my tent ?

OMHO you could turn off the intake fan and allow the tent to have negative pressure and suck in a little bit so your six inch exhaust fan with carbon filter should be getting rid of the smell.
