Grow Goddess from Michigan Says Hello!

Allow me to introduce myself. First, how I found this site. I was turned on to this site by a new "friend" SweetSue!! You see, I had heard of 420 Magazine, just was not aware of the forums.

I would like to shout out to medmanmike. A good man.

Now, about me.

I have been a medical marijuana caregiver in Michigan since 2009. I have successfully treated 2 cancer patients with RSO. I learned about RSO or concentrated cannabis oil, whatever you like to call it, from forums like this.

I am an organic grower, and have been for about 20 years now. I have participated in many marijuana themed forums. I have worked with activists by way of technical assistance with website building. Early on with the Michigan medical marijuana program I was involved with running a compassion club in Mt. Pleasant for a few years. We held open, public discussions about the many benefits of medical marijuana. We also discussed safe cultivation, use, and access in order to avoid legal issues.

I really enjoy working with concentrates. Whether it is naturally decarbed oils or heat decarbed oils. Even mixed oils for e-cannabis vaping.

My favorite part of forum participation is helping others and learning from others just the same.

I would like to share a few of my most recent pictures.

Geek Vapes Griffin 22mm dual coil vaporizer tank filled with e-cannabis oil made from QWISO hash. The griffin is my favorite tank for e-ciggs and e-cannabis. The coil builds takes time to master, but worth it.

hello, and good day.
just wondering how often you swap out wicks in the griffin using that ejuice.......ive tried, and the wicks lasted about 4 hrs, then rebuild, not in a griffin though, I was using a haze at the time.

it sounds like you've got a fair bit of experience, so your probably going to have a lot of posters picking your brain. just like I'm trying to do

Mike

Hey there Brewer. I don't judge by time on the wicks, I judge by the amount of oil I consume. I get a good 4 or 5 grams or mL or CC, whatever you want to call it, per wick build. I don't put in more than a gram or so at a time, not worth the risk of losing oil due to leaking. The most important part is having it wicked correctly.

I am not familiar with the haze vape.

I use the griffin tank for my e-cigarettes so it didn't take too long to get accustomed to the coil builds and nailing the wicking. I use only VG and natural flavorings for my e-cigg mix.

For my e-cannabis I mix a gram of concentrate with some Kosher PG/USP. Gently warm in a spoon, suck it up into a syringe and spit it back out a few times to mix well. I only make enough to use in about a week or two. The concentrate must be very clean to avoid, separation and avoid clogging the wicks. Keeping in mind, I am only familiar with alcohol extracts. I am happy with the end product so never had the desire to try anything else.

Feel free to ask any questions you may have.

Have you gotten the links to SweetSue's oil study hall? cancer treatment thread?

Have seen the oil study hall, was not aware of the cancer treatment thread or the other topics you have listed in your signature.

Thanks!

Gigi..... OMG.... I was so excited to find you here I had to retype this a few times. I kept hitting the wrong keys. :laughtwo:

:welcome: to the :420: community. Good Lord Gigi, you caught me off guard. :laughtwo: I got so excited about finding you and this beautiful oil I kinda shouted about you over here.

Ok, manners. I haven't had time to read what you posted yet - just woke up to fine AngryBird's message alerting me to your arrival. I'd like to invite you to join us, if you will, in the Study Hall. The link is in my signature. We're all about cannabis oils over there, trying to get the best grip on producing and using medicinal oils responsibly as laymen. We also deal with incoming patients. When cajuncelt opened his cannabis clinic in Colorado Springs last year he had to hand over the maintenance of his cancer protocol thread to us, and now the frantic incomers are directed to the study hall.

I know the intrepid crew that gathers over there will be pleased to meet someone with your experience.

I'm so pleased to have the opportunity to get to know you better. I stay so busy here these days it's difficult to wander far.

I've typed the excitement under control now. You were the best wake-up in the world girl.

I'm a hugger. I've trained the community to accept that and now they're all turning into huggers. :laughtwo: I hope to see you in the Study Hall. You can read through later. Come straight to the current page please so you can meet everyone. That's a lot of pages of information to slog through. It's a space to brainstorm and the information can be intimidating.

Hmmmmmm...... I think I'll come up with a new intro to the hall letting visitors know to do that when they first arrive..... Sorry, slipped into work mode. Lol! Come meet the crew.

You make such beautiful oil Gigi. :dreamy: I had to come back and be sure I didn't dream this. :laughtwo:

Welcome aboard, I think you will be happy with the Info exchange and learning here.

Oh and I have read you stuff before. Grate Work :thanks:

EDIT: I hate to ask in a welcome thread but is making e-cannabis vaping oil easy enough to for a vape pen for example.?
At Home with basic equipment?

I never thought of it so much. till I saw you pictures. I only make a super-simple coconut oil canna infused.
your stuff looks so wonderful.
:cheer:

Welcome GiGi,

There are a few here with your kind of knowledge and experience as well as a nice pool of active members on a fast learning curve.

Concentrates, eatables, capsules, CBD, THC to CBD ratios have been among the top topics for a while. Oh and trying to get Sue to move West.

You can call it research or you can call it collective trial and error. Everyone is learning.

It should be interesting hearing what you have been doing as well as having some new insight on our stumblings.

Best

Yes, I started off using basic e-ciggs when I started making the e-cannabis oil. Through trial and error I worked my way up pen vape wise to the CE5 tanks with a basic variable voltage pen battery. After I got into sub ohm vaping and building my own coils, there's no going back. The best tip I can offer is the more clean the oil, the better it will work and the longer the vape will last.

It is real, shall I pinch you! LOL

When I can, I will get to the Oil Study Hall, I have been quite busy lately and it is difficult sometimes to find the time to browse and post.

Thank you for the very warm welcome!

Cannabis oil can kill cancer!

Hello from a fellow Michigander. I am also new to this forum, but not forums in general. I have been running an online community since 2003. I have a question, do you grow everything indoors? My wife does not want me growing indoors because of the smell, so I will be adding a section to our garden. As you know, Michigan has a short growing season. I am hoping my favorite strain Canatonic will do ok outdoors.

Hi Grow Goddess,
SweetSue directed me here to ask you a question. Is it possible to mix CCO (Rick Simpson oil) with something to be used in a vape pen/cartridge?
I began vaping after already purchasing 3 grams of CCO and like the vape much better. Thanks in advance!

Here are pics of my CCO and vape n pen.

I only grow indoors, but I know people in Michigan who do have pretty good success outdoors. They quality is not as good as when grown indoors, but the quantity can increase drastically outdoors.

I do it the old fashioned way, mix my own black dirt, all organic materials.

It is possible to grow indoors without the stink. It all has to do with ventilation, sealing doorways, etc. To reduce the stink ventilating to the outside, people have success using carbon filters. The main stink, that cannot be avoided for me, is at harvest time and trimming. I do the trimming inside, always.

Both indoor and outdoor growing comes with their pros and cons. I pretty much stick to indoor growing because I am paranoid. I get a lot of fly overs, since I live in the woods.
