First time grower here. I've been lurking around on this site learning what I can from you fine people and decided to get a little more official and join the party. I've also got a few questions I'm hoping to get some help with. I've got 4 plants (2 pre-flowering females- yay!, other two not yet sex'd) in a 3x3x7 tent. They're in FF Ocean Forest potting soil. Admittedly I've not been getting into the humidity and pH and all that jazz as I wanted to get my sea legs under me with a pretty simple first grow. I've got a Mars 1000 light over them which they're quite enjoying. I've also got a small fungus gnat problem I'm using sticky traps, apple cider vinegar traps and my own stealth to handle while I wait for my nematodes to get here. Just a few gnats, no larvae yet but I'm watching. Assuming the 'todes will end that.
My biggest question is about my light. I have an additional 600W LED light that came with my kit. Would it be beneficial to put this light in the tent as well? I'm about to change their light schedule to 12/12. I don't wanna fry my babies but if I can provide a little more juice for the flowering stage I'm all for it. Thanks in advance!
