Ive heard of this as well. I think you just sue the highest percentage alcohol available.

In reality you want to be using something like 95% alchohol by volume (190 proof). So yes, you need everclear. But I have heard it works with standard vodka.

You are supposed to let it cure a month. But I just had to crack my bottle open after two weeks. Just be sure the alchohol is green before you drink it. The darker the more dissolved the weed is.

I used about 10 grams chopped very fine for half a bottle of everclear. You probably don't have to use this much (it's sort of a waste) but I did this after a grow and had plenty to spare.

It's pleasant. I have said before I never mix alchohol and weed but this was very nice. No nausea at all. Kind of like half drunk half stoned. It's like.. the body numbness of being drunk but the head high of being stoned from a nice sativa (which my plant was, I am not sure how an indica would do. Or even a 60/40 for that matter).

Give it a try if you have the herb to spare.

if you need something thats 151 proof then bacardi 151 should be adequate?

I just made some green dragon using 7 grams of stems, 1/8 of some mersh shit weed, and 4-6 shots of Devil's Spring's vodka which is 160 proof. I let it sit in the dark for 5 days. It works beautifully. I take 1 shot and feel quite a heavy buzz and take 2 for party time. The drunk feeling wears off leaving you with a wonderful heavy stone.

I've made some out of vodka. I put a half O in a bottle, and shook like crazy for 3 min every hour for 1 day. My granddaddy told me that he done it before. With "alcohol de canya" or moonshine from sugar cane.Which is very high proof. He said that he put 2 ounced of prime bud in a liter. Then shook for 5 min and stainded. This lower time and more shaking makes less cholorophil in the alcojol. So it tastes less green. My gramps said it fucks you up, but he prefers making cannabutter and stiring into some coffee with some kohuala.

ive had it b4, my friend made a whole bottle full, he used everclear with some nice weed... got me so fucked with 3 shots or 4... i dont really remember XD
but ya good buzz with the everclear and good high with i think was purple haze

If you can get your hands on some good Stumphole Moonshine none flavored that would work the best everclear is alot harsher then moonshine and with shine you take 2 shots and wait 10mins take 1 more then it will come up and kick you in the ass I havent had Green Dragon but in my personal oppinion Shine is the best and would be the best for it. When I go to NC in December Ill try and get some and bring it back to AZ and let you know how it works out.

I have made Green Dragon before, what we used was about a half ounce of some shit weed (mersh), because we came upon a good deal of 4lbs. And a bottle of everclear. What we did was we put the half O in the bottle, and sealed it and stuck it in the back of a closet for about 3 weeks. We then took it out, strained it, then made some screw drivers (orange juice and vodka or everclear). Oh boy what a fun weekend that was. We took it with us on a camping trip, we clam baked my good buddies tent, I don't think I was more stoned in my life. Then I passed out, and awoke the next morning, with no hangover and next to a beautiful chick. My ex now. Yeah, so yeah, it is really good.

Ok, I saw this and had to try. Theres some sites - www.greendragonsoda.com, I think - that had detailed info. I went with a variation. I took an 8th of ok stuff and mixed it with mint extract (90% alcohol) and lemon extract (84% alcohol). I used the cooking method and took about a half teaspoon as soon as it was done. I had to mix it with iced tea...which was really good! It did the trick...a lil different...and no coughing!

The REAL question is, can ya smoke the leftovers in the coffee filter??? I think I'm gonna have to hit it...though all the THC should be gone. I'll report back...LOL

Yes, it is always necessary to double boil alcohol. If you don't, there is a risk of igniting the mixture, which is never good.

No. You don't need to boil the bottle that you let just sit.

And as far as straining goes, if you shake it well enough and let it sit long enough, there should be no straining. The weed should be so broken down that only a few small peices are left. And that just adds to the THC.

Right. All boiling does is reduce the time the bud has to be in contact with the alcohol, because at higher heats, the extraction happens more quickly.
