We’re running 85 F during the day and 65 to 69 at night. We just had a bunch of rain this week. The humidity is so bad right now that you can’t be outside two minutes without pouring sweat it’s very miserable. The temperature difference from day to night has me a little concerned because it’s more than 18° difference.

This time I have started my little seedling in a 3 gallon pot in the house and will grow it on the deck. I’m using Geo flora nutrients with fox farm ocean forest soil. She will grow inside my homemade bug tent and I doubt critters will get it her since the dogs guard the deck quite well. So this is day #1.
. I wonder how it'll grow.
I feel the same way about the seedling. it’s like it had a hard time popping through the soil because I don’t think that I got the taproot facing downward enough is what happened. It does not look exactly right to me I hope that the ocean forest soil is not gonna be too hot to start with.Hello @RetiredRN hope your having a great day.

Yes. I don’t plan on feeding her for 2 weeks. I think my soil is hot. I should have Made a little well in the center of the pot and just put regular soil in there for her to start in but I didn’t think about it until after it was too late
Hey granddaddy black! Welcome! My baby has been in front of a window in my sunroom but I just put her out to her bug tent today since she pop through the soil.
Should be fine if you don't over water. When pre charged soil is soaked it releases all the nutrients in one go. Keep your watering local and to a minimum and it should be fine. Ive grown my veg in hot soil, Ive even started the tomatoes in it.
I’m probably over watering her. It’s so hot outside I’m afraid she will dry up. I’m watering every other day using a spray bottle. Theres just one of her. The stupid stem is twisted because I think I didn’t get the tap root facing down enough.
