Gnats: small small flies

hi blazers wats blazing need help got a few gnats flying around my soil i put a fan direct on them ladies there a few of them nt much so im nt going to water them for bout 3days and i want the soil inside to dry out complety...and im 2days nw into 12hrs darknes..plants look da same frm wen i took them from veg....so older guys did i do the correct thing for nw and c how it goes...pls

I'm not a older guy but yes letting your soil dry completely out before watering will help. You can also have a small fan blowing across the top of your soil. Maybe get some yellow sticky traps to see if it's working or not.
