A student at Green Mountain College is facing charges after 6.5 ounces of marijuana was allegedly found in his room.

Joshua R. MacDuff, 18, whose address was listed in court records as Blissville Road in Castleton, pleaded innocent in Rutland District Court to a felony charge of marijuana possession.

Police said a security officer at the college was dealing with unregistered visitors when he discovered the drugs, along with paraphernalia and $420 in cash, in MacDuff's room in Bogue Hall.

MacDuff told police that the drugs were his, that he sold marijuana, and that his roommate was not involved, according to affidavits.

If convicted, MacDuff could face up to three years in jail and $10,000 in fines.

420 dollars lol how obvious.

that sux i hope he does'nt get there years that seems to be excessive, but he is kind of stupid for saying he sold all he had to do was say that he had so much so he wouldn't have to make a running as much. Well knowing the court system the would of charge him for that too without his confession and probably lot more to come.

There are so amny rediculous charges and bogus charges that all of the countries jails are filled with people who arnt real crimianls and people who are actually innocent of doing any crime at all that there is no room for the real criminals.
