Hey guys I have a propogator and some cubes for my northern lights auto seeds should I leave them in the dark when I put them in the cubes or do they need light?
Germination of autos?

I dont evan know weather to soak the seeds before putting them in the cubes? Please help
Dark for hatching, yes soak seeds for 24 hours. They should sink to bottom in a few hours. I hate rock wool - they hold too much water. But some use them with no probs. Once they sprout out of cubes then add light but not a 600 watt hps. A single compact fluorescent bulb is great for starting up.

There like sponges then when the have sprouted put them straight into the coco do I still need to soak them?

Just don’t over water with rockwool, they do hold a lot of water.

Should I spray them a couple times with water then put the seeds in or do the seeds need soaking in water first?
Soak the seeds for 24 hours, soak your plugs in water ph’d to 5.5
Apologies Manchester - had to step out for a minute but Pennywise is the man!
The rock wool needs to be presoaked in 5.5 ph adjusted water like Penny said. After the seeds have soaked 24 hours the tip of root should be visible. Squeeze excess water out of rock wool and put seeds into cubes.
I’ve seen some folks put a bit of dirt in the circular hole area on top of the cube but seriously I don’t know if that’s a good idea or not. No kidding I don’t do hydro at all. (Not if you want her to live anyway) I know a few very basic things but hydro is not my game! Better see if @Pennywise knows
