For sure. I'll worry about that part when/if I see signs of re-maturation. But it'd be interesting to see. But the way to do it outdoors in, let's say March or April, when the days are shorter would be in a greenhouse or maybe a smaller tepee-style cover. It can probably be done. Photoperiod is a real big stimulus for biological activity, for sure, and I know from firsthand experience that it can be manipulated with salmon to make them do what you want them to do. I'll bet that plants can be worked in the same way.
