Thanks for dropping in, I usually flush for a full week with plain R/O water, no flushing agents.

ordered a superstar led 1 week ago, now I finally just called and updated to trinity 3.0 LED today thanks to you stealth. I have spent weeks pouring over your logs and online info and this is the way I am gonna go. Cant wait to start my journey in 3 weeks :) Thought I might introduce myself!
 
PS your grow journals are awesome - incredible oversight with no wastes of time - I truly appreciate your time you spent on these logs.

Honestly, that's awesome that your getting a Trinity Supercloset. There is a learning curve at first but If you've read my journals you should be in a good spot to start right away and have a successful first grow. These closets grow more than enough bud for myself, especially once I get the rotation down, which I'm still working on.
Anyway, once you get your closets setup and running, I'd be happy to help you out with some pointers and walk you through the first grow. Just post an invite to your journal or post any questions you might have and I'll do my best to help you out. ;)

Hi everyone.:ciao:

Its Fried-day night, time for another update.
Today is day 56 for the OG Kush, and she's coming along very nice. I gave the plant its last feeding tonight, Flush starts next Friday. She's getting nice and frosty, but not the biggest tops in the world, and she has a high leaf/calyx ratio. I hope the smoke is as good as I've heard and makes up for the lower yield. Got some good pics tonight, It's hard to get good pics of the main nugs because of all the sugar and fan leaves. The cola's are there though, and finally swelling nicely. Two more weeks til the chop.

The 2 Critical and single OG Kush seedlings are all doing well. Roots are starting to show at the bottom of the net cups and will be in the water within a couple of days, I'm sure. The growth will really start once roots hit the reservoir. I also popped 3 Royal AK Automatics that I'm going to put into some Pro-Mix and bring to my cottage for my first try at an outdoor grow. We'll see how that goes.;)

Nice lookin OG you got there SG, very frosty! Question, is removing a couple larger fan leaves an option you're considering to get a little more light penetration into the bud sites?

Hi Sky, I have removed the odd fan leaves here and there that are blocking light to lower buds. I've also been doing a lot of tucking the large fan leaves under trying to get light down to the lower sites. This plant has so many leaves and the buds themselves have a lot of sugar leaves. I don't want to defoliate to much for fear of stunting the development the plant, she was a late bloomer to start with.
I'm going to make 2 harvests out of her I think, the first harvest I will take all the tops and then let her go another week or so to ripen the lower bud sites.

I also forgot to mention in my update yesterday that I dropped another hour of light. I'm going to try and push the plant to finish up the last couple of weeks. The lights are now set to 13 hours dark and 11 hours light.
