Fresh bud consumption

Hello folks,
I am interested in consuming fresh bud orally, not smoking it. I have cbd fruit, which smells great on a living plant and loses most of the smell once dried and the pistils turn brown. has anybody tried making oil or tincture from fresh bud?
or has anyone tried to decarb by baking for 30min and then just eat the bud or drop it in a vodka jar for a couple of days to make cbd vodka?

Not sure about that, I've cut up fresh bud an quick dried it an smoked it. it's always disappointing weed needs to slow dry and cure for THC to be at it's best. I would think CBD is the same, I just don't know enough about that. I'm sure someone will give better advice
