Freezer Hash Time

We are doing 2 grades today and using the iron and flat iron method with parchment paper and a t-shirt as a buffer.

This is one of the 2 bags we have screened so far.

The kief we are screening is from 2 Gelato autos that I had hermie last December and has been frozen since.

So all I did was light trim the plants, dried them then threw them in freezer bags (1 of these bags made that much you just saw)

Turns into this over time in there

Then we just drop it on a kief catch trim bin and rub it between our hands and collect and scrape and keep that process going. The first batches will be lighter in color. The next more green so separate them for strength and taste.

Then I run through a regular sifter again to make them even better

Then I follow this recipe lol

I will post pics when we are done! Taking a break before moving onto the next bag so give me a few hours and we will have the final result!

*edit* What size mesh(es) do I want?

Buy a cheap food strainer bag on ebay or amazon you can get them in 100 micron or 160 micron
It is best to get it as cold as you can & keep it cold so you break the trichome heads off of the stalks

I use a 90 and a 150 micron personally. Some do the 60/90/110/150/200. I don't go that far, this is easy and does the trick and then some!

you should save yours till winter & use the cold to your advantage

You need to just use a jar of hot water and some pressure for 20 minutes instead...I'm sorry but it's looking rough

However, I have a seed tray and can buy the mesh...
