I have just harvested my 1st grow,i used general hydro turned out nice butt want better results if anyone could give me there opinion would be greatly appreciated.I heard about FF after i bought the general hydro products.Tops are dense but only 22grams wet product and 10 to 12 inches long, I have 40,000 lumens on plant so i think lighting is o.k.? I here of people growing these 16 to 20 in buds that weight 80 grams wet product thats crazyyyy!!!! I grow in soil for now, will possibly try hydro after a few more grows! :thanks::bong:

i've used the FF ferts (growbig, bigbloom, tigerbloom, OS, BB, CC) and had decent results.

i assume your using CFLs from the weight u described. my CFLs with FF ferts produced about 40g per plant.

:goodluck:

yes i am a cfl guy less expensive on the electric bill ! I am going to try a 4x8 t5 light added to my other lights.I am going to try the ff nutes this grow. Thanks for the input.

Stick with soil, get more experience.

More light would help, but gaining more experience is key, more so than the brand of nutes you use. Pick one and use it for several grows before changing anything.:yummy:

Without knowing the details of your growing area I'd suggest saving the money from a 4x8 panel and going for a 400w HPS setup. I think you'll see noticeable gains in bud weight without spending too much more than a 4x8 T5 panel would cost and similar monthly electricity costs. A 400w HPS will stay relatively cool if you have a fan circulating air across the bulb; no need to duct the hot air away unless you live in a hot environment.

On the topic of nutes, I've been using Tiger Bloom with great results and absolutely nothing bad to say about it!
