Follow up on flushing

Plants looking good. Sorry you didnt get the info you needed, I'm not familiar at all with perlite as the only substrate although I'd imagine you'd treat it as coco.

I have a question... I know you said recirc, but for clarity are you pumping water too... or are you using an air pump to drive an air stone in your perlite?

I may know a group to get you plugged into here.

Yep small pump from reservoir watering a few times a day, and an airstone in the bottom of my pot supplying O2 to the root zone.

Apologies GG, life got in the way there.

Nice on the fully recirculated! I run airstones in my soil grows too. I would think you would want to change the resevoir water out more frequently. Especially if you have drainage nearby and don’t have to lug 30 gallons around each time to complete it. I read one post that said change it weekly but IDK.

Do you hang with any of the hydro grower threads on here? Might be a great place to plug in, I’m going to link it below.

I tried with hydro methods but didn’t have much success so migrated over to soil. But I’m interested in hempy grows too using perlite, they grow monsters in small buckets.

How long have you been growing?

Here is the other thread, this group may be a better fit for you. I guess technically you are rdwc. As you probably know dwc = deep water culture and the r in front for recirculating

I used to run Waterfarms. I never flushed until pre-harvest. I did change my nutes weekly. For better flushing, you might want to use something with ions in it. Mild nutes or commercial products?
