Hey everybody. So my plants are in 4 gal pots, in their 5th week of veg, I'm feeding ~400 ppm of nutes (advanced nutrients) every other week and i decided to do a small flush today to adjust my soil pH. Soil is Fox Farms ocean forest mixed with Roots Organic (link to grow is in my sig
pH start at around 5.6, i now have it at 6.1 after flushing with pH 7.0 water.
I'm starting to think I am underwatering my plants. I hear it's recommended for there to be some runoff (10-20 percent) when watering, which i have not been doing, barely any runoff comes out of these large pots when i water. I believe that has something to do with my high EC and weird color runoff. Guessing the 10-20 percent runoff at watering acts as a mini flush.
Finally, Is it a good idea to be flushing during veg?? Figured it couldn't hurt to get the built of salt out of there.
