Why Flush ? It doesn't do anything for your plant that is good. Better to keep feeding all the way to the day of harvest instead of starving the plant & making it cannibalize itself to get nutes. Flushing is a myth. It does not wash away chemical tastes. It's all done in the curing process.

That’s exactly what Buds Bunny is saying. Go to the menu bar and click on Grow, then Grow Journals, then Open Grow Journals. Scroll thru and find 420 member “In The Shed”. Click on one of his posts and at the bottom of the page in his signature line there are 2 articles titled No flush club #1 & No flush club #2 where he explains the science.

The plant absorbs parts of anything fed, watered or foliar sprayed on it during the grow. Flushing the soil or media does not remove what’s been absorbed inside the plant matter. Flushing can wash nutrients or chemical salt buildup out of media but it can’t wash things that were absorbed by the roots and taken up into the plant.

Also see Buds Bunny’s signature for a link on bud washing. Ever tried to clean a pair of bud trimming scissors? The goo that’s stuck on there are trichomes, they are not water soluble. You have to clean bud trimmers with alcohol or a solvent. Bud washing will greatly improve the taste, many are highly skeptical but if you are unsure try this... wash 1/2 of your harvest and leave other half unwashed. Then compare the 2 after the cure & dry.

I tried it for myself and I will always wash my buds right after harvest and before beginning the cure and dry phase. Plus once you see what’s left over in the first wash bucket - you too will have a new perspective.
