Flower times

Just finished my first grow in hydro (rdwc) with bought seeds. Been growing mostly outdoors for 40 years with bag seeds. This grow took 12 weeks to mature (from 12/12 flip), but the seed description said 9. My question is do seed companies start flower times from start of 12/12, or first signs of showing sex? I know y'all like pictures, me too, so here is start of next grow. 2 lemon autos, 2 blueberry autos one of white og, photo(tallest) and one WW photo

Seed company times are generally from first sign of buds. The first couple weeks of 12/12 are “transitioning time”.

so your 12 week time on a nine week strain is pretty normal.
