Flood time for Using Hydrotron?

Since Hydrotron doesn't hold water anything like Rockwool does anyone know how long to flood? I've been flooding only long enough to fill the tank and hit the overflow. I'm using 5x5 square pots filled with Hydrotron sitting in the flood table. Please chime in if ya know something about this. Thanks!RoorRip

It takes 2 minutes 40 seconds to fill to the overflow. I have the timer set to allow another minute to run, then off again for two hrs. I'm on an 18 hr schedule, so they get flooded 9 times during lights on. Timer controls lights and flood times and is set to "daytime", so no flooding at night or lights out. I was on 4 floods a day, but I think the Hydrotron retains very little water, and the plants were not getting enough juice. Colors have came back and they seem to be responding well. Unfortunately, there really doesn't seem to be a set science for proper flooding. I guess it's what you find that works for your particular application.
Peace
