Seeds - The strain is Flo by Dj Short, The seed pack says they are f4s and f5s.

lighting - combination cfl and led bulbs, both at 6500k and 2700k kept on 18/6

nutrients - i feed them home grown algea (spirulina) i grow in a 10 gallon aquarium and somtimes molasses.

Goal - to find a nice pheno male or female to keep around as a mother and for breeding projects.

May i introduce.

Crystal Flo - some variegated and double leaf? multi bladed action.. this leaf has atleast 13 blades.

Jade flo - some light variegation

Amythest flo - showing three leaves at each site.

Very interesting strain, you'd think with that many back crosses they would have avoided abnormalities like that albino leaf and the mutant leaves with 13 blades so early in their growth. Anyways it's awesome that you decided to journal your grow, I look forward to many more updates. Goodluck finding that pheno you're looking for

thank you! I dont think DJ short practiced back crossing in this line. only selective forward crossing. His strain line is known to often have mutations. i3/3 seeds i planted showed mutation. Being that Djs two main goals is finished product and to reduce hermaphrodites, i dont think he was worried about breeding these mutations out. In most cases the plants seem to grow out of them eventually.

this morning i gave them a foliar feed, followed by a soaking of active aerated compost tea. i will give a quick rundown of how i made it

2.5 gallons non chlorinated water in a 5 gallon bucket
3 cups quality earthworm castings
1 cup fungal decomposed woodchips
2 teaspoons "og tea" veganic special sauce microbes
2 cups vegan mix (alfalfa, camelina, kelp meal, rock dust, soybean meal.
1/3 cup organic molasses

use a pump and an airstone to bubble for 24 hours, top will cover with foam.

they are growing nicely. here they are minutes after their first feeding of microbes

Jade has been topped and has new growth. soon will be ready to clone and sex.

I would like to introduce three more from my family. these are my autoflower varieties.

"Peace" is an auto candy cane by crop king seeds. she is 23 days old.

"love" is also an auto candy cane by crop king, and is also 23 days old.

"Harmony" is an auto Lemon Skunk by canuk seeds, 23 days old

Neither Peace nor Love has managed to bush out much. i have not topped or done any training to them. Hamony was getting tall fast so im low stess training her sideways for now.

Crystal made three shoots after being topped instead of the normal two. also signs of variegation continuing in the new leafs.

Jade has been cut short, in an attempt to clone. we will see how it tuns out.
