Flat white paint

So I read flat white is a cheap and effective upgrade to a room i have 5 gallons of flat latex but I noticed it says "moderate white " Will this be fine or being to technical

Hey Harley! I'm thinking that in my cheapskate opinion if it was better than what I had now..go for it! I have set up many grow rooms in old walkin coolers that didn't work anymore. They all have galvanized steel walls. I tell the folks to paint it white or even with reflective silver roof paint. Whatever they have. Both are better than galvanized metal! Should work, I used "country white" flat white latex paint on a wooden board I hung some power strip fixtures on, and it seems to be almost as reflective as the panda film tent it's hung in! Good luck
