Fishtank

Yes, most definitely! It's called Aquaponics. Not many people do it, it's a lot of work. But I've heard of people getting amazing results.

I use the freshwater from my fishtanks to feed my girls. I have to clean out the tanks regularly so I save the water and all the fish $h!t that I vacuum off of the bottom of the tanks and did not add one single nutrient to them till today and i used 1/4 strength tiger bloom. I noticed on one of my plants, the leaves would turn 100% yellow and fall off. I only have 4 more weeks of flower to go and they are doing magnificent. I know that what I am doing is not the same thing as aquaponics but I can attest to the viability of using freshwater fishtank water in our grows. I have a Hydroponic dealer here in town that has an aquaponic set up and he said it is pretty involved. One thing is to get fish that will not eat the roots off your plants lol. I thought it was cool but I couldn't see a 6 foot plant sitting on top of my fishtank. Not practical in my opinion but a cool novelty none the less. Peace

Yeah my African Cichlids love to eat my plants especially the roots. I spent 70.00 one day to get all these plants for my breeder tanks. Came home and the little shits had eaten all the plants. Had I known, I would have gone out and had 70.00 worth of sushi, my favorite. Peace.
