First timer here!

so i noticed this mj sprout in one of the potted plants in my backyard and its been about 3 and a half weeks all ive done is water every morning an make sure there is no bugs. is there any way i could just leave it there and let it live or should i take it inside ?

and it gets the sun straight on every morning for about 4 hours

Well it would do better if it had it's own container so i'd transplant it. it's going to get hungry eventually so it will need a good nutrient. Fox farms has some good ones, so does botanicare. 4 hours of direct light is good, 6 would be better and 8 would be even better. Light equals energy for growth including bud growth.
