Just first time with NFT, was wondering could someone with experience in this help me out? I planted into tlhe nft when roots were starting to show out the bottom of the rockwool 4 inch blocks, but root growth appears to be slow in the NFT tray, even though I'm using rhizotonic. One thing that I thought might be causing this is the 14 degree Celsius temperature of my res. Im looking at getting a heater next week, but should this make a big difference? The plants are under a 600 watt MH Bulb.
Also, how do the rest of you keep your rockwool moist when you're letting the roots develop? I just kept them in a butter container with around 1/4 inch of water in the bottom.
