First time growing, thought it was close to harvest but

I've been growing this plant outdoors from a seed I got from a friend, unknown strain and origin. Being the first time growing I made a few mistakes, but luckly I think I am now close to the finish line. I think it has been flowering for about 7 weeks.

I was sure I would be harvesting this week or next, because most pistils were already brown, but the last week it started showing new white pistils (doesn't show well in the pics), and buds seem like they are gaining more weight. Also, before, the buds were pretty uniform and dense, now some of the calyxes (? idk if that's what they are) are like sticking out of the bud a bit (can be seen in the last two pics).

I tried using a jewelers loupe to check for thricomes, but my eyesight is not the best, and I can't see what color they are, I am pretty sure I don't see any amber, but I can't see if they are white or transparent.

How much time do you think this plant have left until harvesting for a balanced high?

I find it difficult to use the loop as well. I use a digital microscope to check the trichomes. I cut a very small piece off of one of the colas for the check. The stand it came with(right) was garbage, so I bought something a little better (left). They now have a WiFi version available.

@Old Salt where did you find that stand??? I have the same scope and calling the factory stand "garbage" is putting it mildly.

I had the same experience with a critical kush recently. Just as I was going to cut it, the buds started to shoot out a dozen or so shoots each. I let them run for a while but it got to be too heavy.
