First time grower

I have "grown" 1 seed in the past, into the ugliest of plants. Just used dirt and tap water. She attempted to grow but sadly passed away. This time maybe my lack of a green thumb doesn't hold me back. I have proper soil, amendments, water, grow area, etc. I'm ready to grow some for real. I have some Black Gorilla seeds from Rocket Seeds floating in a cup of spring water as I type. If you read this, thank you. Hopefully, she gets growing so I can keep coming around.

I take it you have a light and everything need to start a grow journal?
Most of the time when you ask for help we will ask you to post an image to help you.
